A conductor is a material that electricity can flow through easily. Did you know that water is a very good conductor of electricity?
That means that energy from an electrical outlet, power line, or a lightning bolt flows easily through water. If you’re touching water – like standing in a puddle or swimming in a pool – when it becomes electrified, you will be hurt or even killed. So be careful.
